Plant: Boswellia rivae (Floral and herbaceous, but with deeper incense, spicy, woody, terpenic notes than B. carteri). Unlike most frankincense, this one isn't harvested; instead, the resin is collected from natural self-exudations by nomadic pastoral families.
This oil comes from the town of Shilabo, southeastern Ogaden Region, Ethiopia.
